INTO Support

Getting started
Choose a local video with Open File, add an SMB share with Add Network Location, or enter a direct HTTP/HTTPS video URL with Open URL. Playback starts in ordinary 2D. Use Playback Options to enable SBS 3D or enter VR.

Formats
MP4 with H.264 or HEVC is the main supported format. Playback depends on the container, codec, profile, resolution, and device limits; not every MKV or 8K file can play. For some incompatible network videos, try Download for Compatibility from the file’s menu. This uses local storage and may take time. It does not guarantee support for every codec.

NAS and Mac shares
Keep both devices on a reachable local network and allow INTO local network access in system settings. Enable SMB on the server. On a Mac, enable File Sharing → Options → SMB and select the login account. Enter the hostname or IP address and the share name separately. Use an account with read access; some servers reject guests.

VR controls
Choose 180° or 360° for equirectangular video, or Fisheye for centered 180° equidistant fisheye circles arranged side by side. Swap eyes if needed. Adjust the horizontal/vertical view and zoom, or use Recenter. Zoom changes the displayed view; it does not change the headset’s optical focal distance. Adjust alignment gently and pause if viewing is uncomfortable. Minimize the panel with “−”; look outside the panel and pinch to toggle it. Spatial upscaling is experimental and may reduce performance; switch it off if playback becomes less smooth.

Storage and privacy
Use the square Stop button to close a video. Stop playback before clearing caches or reducing the cache limit. Cached copies can be regenerated; original videos are not deleted. A location’s menu lets you forget its password or remove the location. See the Privacy tab for details.

Reporting a problem
Email the app version, visionOS version, playback mode, whether the file is local or on a share, and the visible error. Codec, resolution, and frame-rate details are useful if known. Screenshots are optional; remove private filenames, addresses, and account details. Never send passwords or private videos. A short sample you are allowed to share can be provided only if needed.
